Arkansas Meet-Ups, Swaps and Such

Had a good auction today. A bit cold though had a good turn out considering the temp.

Got a quad of Naked Necks for $12.00 for all 4. Good deal. They looked like they are around 3 years, as long as they lay they will work for me. I'll hatch out babies from them and raise for my replacements.

The birds were getting fairly descent prices.

Looking forward to the next one, scheduled for the 28th of February as long as the wheatear isn't too cold and the roads aren't bad. Said they would let folks know by the 20th of Feb.

Glad you had fun!

Next auction @ Saline County Fairgrounds the 24th of Jan. Will know for sure by the 20th of Jan.
Due to the weather in Arkansas the announcement will be made for sure in the 20th.

Hi Draye. I may have some (Greenfire Farms stock) chocolate orpington bantam chicks to sell. How do I go about selling them at the auction at Saline county fairgrounds?

Just keep check here to make sure they are still having the sale.

All you have to do is show up between 8:00 and 11:30 a.m. on the day of the sale and they will get you checked in. If you plan on buying you'll need to register and get a buyers number.
