I am interested to find out what everyone is doing this year - being from Australia originally we didn't do the whole "Halloween" thing but since being in the US it is my favourite holiday, closely followed by Thanksgiving and Christmas LOL

I can't wait, I am already starting on decorations for inside the house and have a few ideas for props etc for outside!!

I too love Halloween! Good for you! I agree, start that decorating! Take some pictures too. At least you live where you have an autumn, lucky you! That's why the hubby and I go to western North Carolina, in the mountains every October, to see the beautiful colors! The fall is my favorite! Enjoy!!!!

My family makes homemade wreaths and displays! We also love on the cooler days to open the windows and doors to let the house air out. To get it the extra little ump, we use pumpkins spice candles and air spray! I love fall its so pretty and it fells amazing outside!!

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love it when all the spooky shows come on TV. We don't really decorate, we have pumpkins that we have grown strewn about but those are more for sale than looks.

yay, im not the only "nutcase" lol that love Halloween. I'll get some pics up when I finally get around to decorating, seems the change of seasons brought me a nice cold & bronchitis

It's always around this time od year that I get super excited for Halloween. I start hoarding pumpkin recipes on Pinterest, and I think about alll the fallish activities we can do and decorations for fall! I keep trying to tell myself not to get excited too early because by the time Halloween comes I will be burnt out. But I'm glad to see that all you guys are excited with me!
Yay for Halloween!!!

The only thing that annoys me this time of year is that all the decorations get lumped out in the stores at once, it should be Halloween first then thanksgiving, then Christmas.

What is everyone and their kids (if you have them) dressing up as for Halloween?

I am going for the gory zombie look, our son will be spiderman & hubby is either going for the zombie look or something equally as creepy.

I have some old tombstones I've made for the outside cemetery & I bought a few for the store this year, just have to go buy some more insulation foam next weekend & make some more seeing as my wonderful hubby bought me a hot foam carving tool!!!

Last year was an epic personal decoration...I carved the gruesome jack o lantern pumpkin, stuffed it with a roll of toilet paper soaked in kerosene, set it on fire, while it sat on a brick in the galvanized washtub of water and dry ice....AWESOME!

Too bad we only had two trick or treaters.

Oh that is awesome, I need neighbours like you lol, I usually do pretty detailed carvings - it's like my Zen time lol

I have been totally slack on here lately, first with being sick - nearly 3 weeks later I am finally feeling back to normal and then life gets all hectic lol

I finally got a few pics.

I just printed out some creepy pics in black and white and put them in some $1 frames from dollar tree

Went a lil nuts at spirit halloween lol - I detest those stick figure families (sorry if anyone likes them, just not my cup of tea) and I got us a zombie family lol wish they had a zombie ferret and zombie chickens I could add but alas no

Did some cardboard bats for the covered areas of the house this year

Mr Skeleton up in the window - need hubby to get the screen off so Mr Mummy on the other side can be seen

These are the bats I did last year out of that insulation foam. Painted them in black chalk board paint and ta daaaa instant bats

Couldn't resist getting a new flag for the garden

Our sign next to the front door

The bed in the spare room COVERED in about 15 tombstones, multiple bags of spider webbing lol, signs, severed feet/hands, bugs, bats, rats, crime scene kit, lights & most important ... my new BLACK LIGHT!!!!

Love this lil guy, got him on clearance last year at spirit halloween. Normally they are pretty pricey, i snagged him for $10!!!!!

I got some pallets the other day for free, just have to pull them apart, paint them black and assemble into a cemetery fence. Once that is done I can start putting the rest of the stuff outside!!

How is everyone else going with their decorations??
