I told my husband that I will be needing a kurig for Christmas because he leaves me 1 to 3/4 cups in the morning. I need two- but making one good cup  of coffee is difficult- and I do not want to waste a whole pot.

I need to dust off my coffee toddy maker.....  But you make your coffee all at once and and freez it into ice cubes....  then you grab up your seriving and pop it in the microwave.....

But I like the one @ronott1 has as well.

I havent liked Kuring because of the ancillary trash...  but they make refillable cups now....

I am an idiot... And I can use a Feench Press. big_smile.png

Put in grounds (not too fine), pour in hot water... Put on lid (with sieve thing at top) wait until hot water turns a nice dark color.... Push sieve thing down... Pour out coffee!!

I have read up on you... you are anything but an idiot. ;)

It must be the weather, but I am starting to need more coffee.

I think the french press are much more reasonably priced than the kurigs.

The green mountain breakfast blend is delightful though.

You should get a Keurig, they're great!

A french oress also costs very little, and is super easy to adjust the amount of coffee produced.

Hi 3goodegs :frow  Nope.  Didn't move, yet.  Pa decided to log the place off first to get us some extra money but then he decided to go ahead and put on a new roof and replace some of the windows and fix a couple things that needed fixin' for years so who knows???

wow, just happened to be checking my list and saw 14 posts on here!!!

Another vote for the french press.  That way you can have coffee even if your power goes off.  Of course, if the weathermen are right about this super El Nino thing this year, Alaskan and I are probably going to have a pretty mild winter.
