Oh trust me they can be stuffed my sheltie, Molly, once got into a bag of dog food while Mom and I were at the store, when we got back we fed them dinner and neither of them would touch it... Molly's stomach was right as a drum I thought she had bloat and was terrified, until we realized they both had it... Hmmm bloat's not considered catching but being naughty is. Of course neither got dinner and we watched them closely to make sure they digested everything okay in spite of their binge. Lol

I used to think that meat should be from herbivores... But then I love pig and chicken and bear.... And then last winter I tried a great big kitty for the first time. I gotta say, it actually wasn't all that bad...
I'm jealous of your getting to try those unique foods. Idk if I could eat a cat, even a big cat, being that I own and love cats. I do have friends from Haiti that have eaten it and some even like it but mostly its out of necessity. I suppose I would try a big cat but it still might bother me a bit. I would however love to try bear. Along with duck, quail, snake, gator, turtle, bison, elk, moose and any number of any others. I like to try a food at least once although there are probably a couple I would say no to.
I love the bizarre foods shows too. Lol

She never chased anything unless I told her to.... and she was very quick. She would dig up a rats nest and kill em all and give me the rats when I asked for them.
Rosie Posie passed away at the golden age of 17 I could never replace her not with a single dog.
Sorry for your loss. Yes it's something I've been thinking as Molly is ten now and I'm just not sure how I'll ever love another dog after her. Ugh I've read that the reason animals' lives are so short is because they already know how to love perfectly and unconditionally but I have to say that I would legitimately give my right leg to be able to keep Molly for my whole lifetime. I know that's a lot to say being that I've never been without it and I mean no disrespect to those missing any limbs. It's just as though Molly is a part of me physically a piece of my heart. She's definitely a Velcro dog but so much more she separates my cats when the get too rough playing and start to hurt each other, she gave each of the chicks kisses goodbye that a couple bought the other day, and tonight I taught/had her picking up and throwing away pieces of a toilet paper roll(empty) that she shredded, she loves shredding them and I don't mind cleaning up the pieces, usually. Literally she was picking them up, walking them over and dropping them in the trash can.
My closest friend was over today and we got to talking about someday when I lost Molly. I told her someday I would get another sheltie and then probably be massively disappointed because it wouldn't be Molly. Of course it wouldn't I would be a little freaked out if it was. I've been told by some people on BYC that some people believe that there are animals just meant for us. They referred to them as heart dogs(cats etc) do I think that some animals are just special and can never be matched, yes I do. I think Molly is one of them and I hope if I'm lucky in my lifetime maybe I'll find another one. In the meantime I'm gunna put all I can into loving Molly and making sure however many years(hopefully many) she has left are as wonderful as they can be.
hard to believe I've had her ten years in two days will be her birthday so it's a bit early but I don't think she minds.
