Try living in San Diego and going to walmart....  :th  .  women wearing those Kardassian jeans (tight and very stretchy) No bra and you can tell they need a bookmark to find their belly button.    They give us Fluffy women a bad name.

 

then there is camel toe.....  Yep there are some things that you just cant UNSEE.

 

I used to work at a gas staion that has its own unsee issues....

Past poultry: Buff Brhama, EE, Barred rock, Wellsummer,

Bantam mixes, Araucana, Turkeys, & Guinea Fowl.

Future poultry:  Guinea Fowl, Sumatra, Wellsummer, Muscovy

glad to hear others are up and just as groggy this am! Lol have a question to get minds functioning this morning.. I have 2 Muscovy ducklings who mama duck thought she needed to help out of the shell both have yolk sacs and what as a first timer I can only describe as an umbilical hernia? I've read several threads and a few are mentioning a paste? Can someone tell me how to make this or what its called so as to purchase it!?


the one persion I know that can answer this is @Sally Sunshine  Shes the be all know all guru of hatching.

Hehehe!  I can imagine about gas stations...  I used to live in Laguna Niguel and Huntington Beach.  Know all about the lack of sense god gave tomatoes out there!!!  We don't call it the granola state for nothing!!  No offense intended.

From what I've read, leave 'em be.  If they're stuck on them for more than a couple of days then you'll need to intervene.  A hernia will be noticeable and requires either surgery or at the very least a small bandaid with neosporin on it to help fight infection.  If left untreated, the innards fall out and the poor ling won't do so well.  Any pictures you can share?

none taken.....  Native Californian born and raise and I am still scratching my head over stuff.  But you gotto know Beach towns attract Wing nuts.....  So desert towns just a bit different ....  I resemble the latter.

Yes, deb, I think that ' just a bit different' is appropriate.  :lau  In the best of ways, I might add.

yep one day in the City I watched a scruffy dirty fellow with a paper bag clutched around something to drink hunker down on a curb...  Smacking his lips in anticipation...    In the City hes a bum ....  Up at home its a local.   :gig

I use iodine, keep them separate so they dont pick each others and tear it and open it up.  Feed electrolytes and try some scrambled egg yolk if they will eat itty bits of it!  And of course read that info!  Good luck!  Pics ALWAYS help us to help you!
