Atheists and Humanists Group

Hi!

Just curious. Does anyone belong to local groups for community service, humanist groups, etc. I haven't found one in my area. I would have to travel more than an hour to get to one. I do lots of community-related activities, but there isn't a specific secular group where I live.

Thanks. But the closest one to me is in Canada. It's over an hour away. The next closet is 2.5 hours drive, and then after that it's a 5 hr drive. :-/

Perhaps you could simply investigate secular charities in your area, or look into community-based groups with some form of government tie-in, since they can't be based on religion.
