Hi!

I know this is an older thread, but I was searching and searching and stumbled upon this very informative thread. From the info provided here I think this may be my chick's problem.

I'm wondering if I should do something for this chick, or if I should just wait and see how it goes. I'm wondering what signs I'm watching for and at what point it becomes serious.

The chick is 8 days old now, the biggest of the hatch and eating and drinking just fine. The spot on its rear isn't getting any smaller.

Here's a link to my original post with pictures and more info if you're able to help.

Thanks so much!
