5th chick dying in my hands right now - help!

Just read thru the entire post over the course of the day. Didn't cry until you had to put down all of your chickens. :-( I sincerely hope and pray that your new chicks arrived and are all healthy and especially that your husband is still cancer-free and continues to get healthier everyday.
Bless you. Yes, my new chicks are 20 weeks old and very healthy :) My husband continues the fight <3

Noticing that this was all happening 2 years ago, but I feel like I'm reading about my yesterday!! I'm only on page 5 of this thread, but I'm so thankful for this "chicken community"! I've lost 6 birds in a week (1 week to 4 weeks old). Sounds very similar to your situation...though nothing looks "poxy". I felt so helpless yesterday...I know those peeps are so fragile, but when they are just dropping like that it's horrible! I lost 2 peeps last night....I have 3 more that are 4 weeks and 4 more that are 5 days old...Ive cleaned, medicated and prayed...I know of nothing else. Thank you all so much for participating in this thread. I'm going to get back to reading (and praying) and see if I can learn any more good stuff. Thank you all!!!

I stumbled into your thread this morning and read every post. What an incredibly challenging couple years you have been through. I hope that things have turned to the upside for your husband, children and new fur babies. I know how much time effort, money and love go into our birds and the stress when they get ill. You really did all that you could for your flock and your documentation will only help others who seek answers to oddities in their flock. Thank you for so bravely documenting your journey.

Peace and love and prayers to you!

feel bad for you having to through that
