Still no eggs...

I have also bought laying chickens where also told that they lay eggs . I'ts been nearly three weeks now that they are here they look happy, but still no eggs how long does it take for them to lay eggs after they shed their feathers i got 134 chickens

Normal behavior. When I first brought mine home, the bigger ones really bullied the younger, smaller ones. They are figuring out their "pecking" order so to speak. Also, if you spread out the feed for a few days out on the ground they will all be able to peck at it, at their leisure. Then, once they get used to each other and to their new surroundings it will become easier to feed them together. If you have a Roo that is getting too mean, he may be ready for the pot. We threaten one of our Roo's on a regular basis, although, we couldn't eat him cause he's so comical and we really enjoy his antics! Let me know how it all works out for ya. Good luck!

Try layer feed also. But if it's cold, it does slow them down. I get eggs on a regular basis now. But, it took a few weeks for them to really get comfortable. Could also have to do with age.

They are probably still settling in. We got several last year that were about 30 weeks old and laying and it took a good two weeks for them to settle in and start up laying again. Also, having a rooster around helps them feel more secure and comfortable to lay if you are able to keep one.

We moved to a new house in May which had a beautiful coop and two barnevalder chickens who were about a year old. Thu started laying a few weeks later and have us an egg every other day throughout the summer. They started molting about 6 weeks ago and haven't laid since. We live north of Seattle so the weather has really started to change. One is totally full feathered again but the other looks a bit scraggly still. Is it normal to take this long to molt and have no eggs the whole time?

Also, we got chicks in May who are 23 weeks old. They have not yet started laying. Should we be concerned there too? Since the whole flock isn't laying? I've been looking around the yard to see if I can find eggs and haven't seen any laid inappropriately but have just been looking in surface areas.

Lastly, it finally got in to the 30s last night. Do we need to do anything special with the coop for cold weather besides making sure the water doesn't freeze?
Update on chicken behavior:
Our new girls have been laying for some time now :) Hooray! We mostly get 3 eggs a day with a few light days here and there. There have been a few egg breaking situations so we are trying to collect as early as possible with hopes that they aren't getting a knack for eating!

The Barnevalders though I still do'nt believe are laying. I've scoured the yard and unless they are hiking way back underneath the deck to lay, where it would be impossible for me to get the eggs, they aren't laying. That means they haven't really laid since June! That said, one of them literally just started bowing to me this week. Does that usually mean they are ready to lay? The other has been doing it for a while, but we havent' seen an egg from her. That means it has been pretty much 6 months for these two ladies.

Thoughts would be appreciated.
