I've never had lice on any of my chickens. I believe DE is helpful for lice, I just don't have any personal experience with treating lice on chickens.
The only parasites we've ever had on the chickens are the mites that live on the bird. We've had good control with those. There is another type of mite that lives in the cracks of the coop and comes out to feed on the chickens at night. I think they are more of a warm climate problem and we've never had them here.

well i checked a few of my chickens and only saw a few little bugs, but have noticed someone is losing feathers. I found some Sevin Dust, but it's 10%. I have read a few posts and it says not to use that on the chickens, but can I use that in the coop and run?? or just a little on them?? or should I just go buy some 5% to coat them in?? please help so I can catch and fix this early
