He is super aggressive this year since breeding has started.

the males sound more like of chuckle .. And the female sounds more like a hahaha sound . males are always MORE aggressive than female. If they're sticking their neck out at you and about to CHARGE! then you'll know if it's a male .. Females are not going to charge at unless they have babies ..... Then they want to kill you !! Lol

The more I watch them the more I think I have 3 ganders and one goose. One goose stays on the nest where she has been laying and then 2 of the others will fight each other and the one that I originally thought was the gander just stands in front of the nest hissing at everything so idk I really hope I didn't get a bad deal when buying these

They start about mid dec to late jan and lay sometimes as late as mid april. Some geese will lay twice a year and set.

I know this is an old post but I thought I'd try anyway. My goose had a clutch she hatched really early in the year and started another about two days ago. What do you know about them having multiple clutches? Have you experienced it? I'm so excited to learn that someone else has had this happen. :)

About 9 or 10 months mine started laying. They start about mid dec to late jan and lay sometimes as late as mid april. Some geese will lay twice a year and set. If you take the eggs they will lay more, and with the help of the right diet, proteins and laying pellets, you can collect more eggs.

It also depends on the age of the goose. You can learn more by looking at the availability dates on chicks and hatching eggs on sites like www.MurryMcmurry.com or www.Metzerfarms.com

Good Luck!
When would I take the eggs I am a new mommy to geese please can a seasoned mommy give me advice on what to do I do not want anymore geese I have two n that's all I need and want

When my goose was laying I took her eggs up just like I took the chicken's and duck's eggs.

Goose eggs make wonderful baked goods and also are great to eat by themselves. I love omelets from them.
:welcome
