Hi all. Here just north of Port Hope Ontario. We are or have been hatching brown chinese geese. It's been a weird year I was not expecting goslings heading in to winter but there here.
My goal is two fold one to use the geese as weeders in our veg fields and to become a breeder of these lovely birds. The problem I'm facing is I don't want to breed these young ones (when they get to that age) back or to each other (there all sibs).

Currently have 1 breeding male. 1 yearling male I just picked up and 3 breeding girls.

Would be interested in possibly trading to get some additional DNA.

We are in Tweed Ontario, and I had no idea that there was an Ontario section on this forum! So awesome!!
We are new to keeping chickens, and just got our first ever five pullets (barred rocks)...but our friends order from Performance Poultry all the time and think it's great. I went on their website but it says they are no longer taking online orders for 2017.....I wonder if it is still possible to order at all for the year.
Anyway, glad to know the Ontario section exists!

We moved to tweed from Waterford! I loved Waterford. We lived up in the new development.

We are an hour outside of Peterborough, but don't want roosters!! Haha.
