how cold does it get?

Ok folks it is time to break out the long underware to help keep warm and layers of clothing to go do our chores to keep our birds comfy and clean freshwater to spite the cold weather......... I know I will be wearing 2 to 3 layers to do my chores...

Birds are very happy that I have heated buckets.
 
We will see what the winter in ireland is gonna be like this year .this year we had a rare dry jan,Feb,March which nevers happens and we had a hot summer and right now its very dry! This is weird but fun to experience
 
RURU I can relate on the layers of clothing. servpolice hope you won't getting blasted with gale force wind like Scotland. we had a 30 degree change today since morning, now sleet and snow.

-11 today, -25 with the windchill I put down 3 bales of straw today under the coop, they spend most of the day under there. I have a raised coop with a hoop coop attached and covered with plastic to keep out the wind and snow. This is the first year I have tried this and i really like how it's working out it gives them a lot more room so they aren't just in the coop all day.
