Duck don't quack

my duck has grow all his feathers and still doesn't quack why? he chirps like a duckling

and is it okay to ask about ducks? this backyard CHICKENS .com :hugs

Welcome to BYC  What breed is your duck?  If a mallard derived breed, it may be a drake - they do not 'quack'.  If it is a muscovy, neither hens nor drakes quack.
