This is Iona-

She is a 1 year old, high energy, incredibly stubborn, too-smart-for-her-own-good BC mix and is totally awesome.
We practice agility together, which she loves, but I'm looking for some other fun games to keep everything new and exciting. I have actually found that she learns quicker and better the more she has to learn, especially if I spread things out a bit. I tried teaching her roll-over everyday for a week, but she kept getting worse. 2 weeks later I tried it again and first try she got it (she's still rusty on that, but you get the point)

Any ideas and "How-I-Did-It's" would be appreciated. I've thought about Fly-ball, Frisbee, pulling a cart, etc. Thanks!

Try teaching her the names of her toys - I tell my engish setter to get his Bone - he will walk over to the first toy, pick it up, think on it, drop it, and go find his Bone. He will even stand there in the middle of the room sometimes thinking about where he left it!

Walks are great training for BC's. My firend has her BC/lab mix able to walk off leash, at her side, sits when she stops, and only watches the squirrels and bunnies as she walks by. Her BC was uncontrollable until she started the daily walks in the neighborhood. Never takes the same route two days in a row so the dog has to PAY ATTENTION to HER the entire walk. That is so hard for a BC - focus on me.

She is really good on leash; she watches everything but responds to a feather touch because she wants to keep watching and can't if she disobeys. Off leash-ehhh, not so much. Names of toys is a good idea.
