What about a collar like you would use for a cat/dog to prevent scratching wounds. You could leave on during the day and remove at night,purchase from a vet or make your own.
Here's what he had done to it yesterday I tried taping his toes putting baby socks on his feet etc nothing worked. I spent a longtime cleaning him back up yesterday but every time I get as much of the blood off as I can hes digging it back open but other than that he's alert and active and more than willing to gobble up his food.
Good idea. Maybe he is trying to scratch any pus out that is left,so you won't have to go cutting again, LOL. His poor little head looks pretty sore. Wonder if they make tiny football helmets for protection?
