Jackie, that is so sweet of you.  I don't even hear them anymore, I am sure they are long gone.  I will have to go to the hatchery in Lebanon if I can't find someone around here who has some for sale.  My one lonely keet will need some company for sure.  If I don't find one I might take you up on that offer.  Thanks so much.    hugs

mostly orps here!  We have five daughters, one foster son and 18 grandchildren and seven(another one on her  way ;-)  )  great-grandchildren!   Yes, there is a God

Carrie,  You might try Estes in Springfield.  They may have some due to hatch.  Here is a link to their hatch dates:

Have any more returned home?

Hi, and thanks ...no others have returned.  I went outside and don't hear them at all.  I really think they are just too young to find their way home.  We are only 35 miles from Lebanon so I may get some there.  thanks a bunch!
I just posted an ad on GOIN want ads.  They cover the three counties surrounding me asking to buy two or three keets.  We will see what happens.

Dalia, I am so impressed, I never could tame mine down.  Wilder than mad hatters.  Maybe I need fewer to deal with?  smile  I think I will bring that single one back into the house and put it in a dog cage so I can handle it.  Thanks for sharing your advice.  I had tried handling the thirteen but they just wouldn't accept me.

Ok, thanks to Ann of our very own BYC in Ava I got some purple keets today plus some silkies.  They are so cute.  Wild though as usual.   big_smile

yuckyuck  lau    Ok, I will try it with one or two.  I am having no problem with the silkies as they seem to want to be held.
