Swedish Flower Hen hatching eggs

Yep. I had several USDA certified quarantine stations set up for horses and other livestock that I could recommend (no such thing exists for poultry) which helped keep costs down as I wasn't going out to every farm to set up a quarantine, but even with doing that, I still visited each and every shipment at least twice. My bill alone was usually $300-600/visit. The quarantine stations have a daily charge, plus their vet makes visits for testing and the charges start adding up. Several clients were oil sheiks and such, so money was no object, but several times, an average citizen was taken aback by how much it all cost. Several told me that had they realized just how much it was going to cost, they would have not imported or exported the animal (usually a horse) and saved the money.

At the time we shipped the live animals FedEx, but they do not handle eggs. I'm not sure FedEx does livestock either any longer.
