Thanks for the conversation...I found another Golden that a kid from the FFA was selling.  She is a year old and after establishing she was the boss all is well in my hen house.  LOL

Glad you joined the flock AND that you got a friend for your hen. 

 

It's true that dogs can bark all day and night, run loose through the neighborhood and that's fine!  But a few harmless chickens  get neighbors up in arms. How sad.

just wondering if you ever found out what the code is? We own a home in 92083 and would love chickens but the Vista city site is not helpful. :-( thanks for any help!
