Farm boots- Muck boots, Mudruckers, Cheap boots???

I have a question how much are you guys paying for these muck boots their not that expensive around here I wear a pair everyday and have had great service out of them.

If I remember correctly, I think I paid around $90 for mine a couple of years ago. That's quite a bit for footwear to wear around the farm, or it seemed so at the time. Now I believe it was money well spent.

I have to throw away one boot at a time, and they get a crack at the bend of the toe as oldchick says. I throw away one boot about every six months. So one pair a year.

I rinse them off every day after chores. I also use them to mow the grass and do all outside work in (gardening, weeding, etc.).

I buy the $17 Servus brand ones at the feed store, Wilco.

They are great!!! I have two pairs going at once...my newer pair and my older pair. My newer pair is for when I run outside and I am in my clean clothes. My dirty pair stay in the garage and I only wear those in the morning when I am about to clean out chicken coops and do all the dirty stuff before my shower.

Only thing is, when it is very cold out, I have to use heated foot warmers (the shake and activate packs) to keep my toes warm.

Ok good the way everyone was talking I thought it was way over a hundred bucks for a pair I started to say I got a great deal then but one set was 75 dollars and the other was 56 one short one tall

Well, it's all relative. What seems high to me might not to others. I just don't pay much for footwear of any kind. Or clothes for that matter! haha I'm cheep!

A pair of Muck boots up here is $140.00!

I love mine! Use them to help DD wash her 4-H animals. Will not slip off when walking through deep mud like me old slip on rubber boots. I have the Arctic ones due to our cold weather. Sure beat that -30 we had a few weeks ago. I have had mine for 2 years and no problems.

Thanks for the replies everyone. The pair of boots my hubby got me were $119 on sale. I have read reviews that they are slippery, but I think it depends on which style you buy. I wanted to get a pair of the shorter ones cause I thought they would be more comfy in the summer. But now with all this snow on the ground I'm rethinking that. He got me the wetland boot style. They were really comfy but tight on the calf so you can't tuck in your pants without some effort. Oh decisions, decisions!! Maybe I'll go try on some different ones today.
