Where to get 2014 chicks? ideas? breed suggestions?

If you don't want to order online (Some times they are out) you can order at Paris Farmers Union. That where I get mine. Good Luck:)
 
I have ordered from Meyer myself and all chicks arrived healthy even with the 2 day travel time. This year I ordered thru a local feed store that uses Murray Mcmurray, I figured it would be easier that way because they order more. They arriving this week. I ordered birds with smaller combs this year. We have hard winters and my marans suffered from a lil frostbite so i want more pea comb type birds
 
Awesome! I get mine sometimes there too. We had a hard winter too. My roosters comb has a lot of frostbite poor thing. I wish you the best of luck with your new chicks!:)
 
I'm late in the game this Spring getting new babies. I got my 8 girls at TSC. My local (Memphis area) stores only have them till the end of the week with a minimum of 6. Our first batch was a Rainbow Layer assortment from McMurray. We never lost a baby to illness either. If I order from a hatchery again, they will be who we use.
