GSE or Grapefruit Seed Extract Combats Cocci or Coccidiosis and Other Ailments

Anyone know the difference between the effects of grapefruit seed extract and grapefruit seed oil?
 
I have used this to treat my chicks when they were very ill with coccidiosis! It worked for 2 of the three that were really struggling. I now use it regularly in their water.
