Dual-Purpose Flock Owners UNITE! - Page 29

Yep...I'd blame it on the silkie.  They have a top knot that obscures their vision for spotting aerial preds, they move slow and they don't seem to have good survival instincts at all.  Makes them a sitting duck when trouble comes.

Matthew 10:32-33 - Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

I'm going to be raising rumpless Araucana as a dual-purpose, self-sustaining flock starting next year. Good info in this thread.
