My two goslings. The left one meets all the criteria for an african goose, but the right one is unidentified. It is turning white, though, something that I thought was bald spots inside the house. They are a few weeks old, but are quickly getting very big very fast. They are the clumsiest things that I've ever seen, worse than the ducklings, and their feet are huge! We got them from the local feed store, and are unsexed. I took the brooder heat lamp outside as well, I wanted them to have a place to get warm while they get some needed outside time. The african likes to be held and petted, the other one couldn't care less, although both will talk to me when I "reep-reep" at them. I've never raised waterfowl before, so every day is a new gosling experience.
