Hello,
I d like a piece of advice as I m new to it..its been 12 days since I saw my goose laying her first egg ever!!! (she´s 11 months old) and trying to make a nest around it with some little pieces of branches she found there. Now there are 8 eggs. I decided not to take them away as I thought she´d sit when she would like to. The thing is that 2 of my chickens like eating eggs and I saw them trying to break the eggs without succeeding it but they destroyed the nest and I found all the eggs scattered around instead of being kind of burried between the small branches.
So, shall I take the eggs away and when she sits I can put them back? And will she sit on one egg?
Or shall I burry them again and leave them there? I really would love to have some new born geese.
Or shall I separate her? Or separate the greedy chickens?
Thanks,
Thanasis
