Ok good news! I have found 7 eggs in 7 different nests today ! I was suprised since i only filled the nestboxes few days ago . But they are not the eggs im waiting for :/
Im waiting for my african to lay and there is a large white egg in her breeding pen but there is also my 2 female embdens and chinese female crosses in the breeding pen with my buff and brown african ganders so i dont know if its hers if it is i will be delighted
Paint her butt with food coloring like i did with mine

I didnt know who laid my eggs so subhannalah suggested painting their vents with food coloring and waiting for an egg. When it was laid i matched the coloring on the egg to the bottom of the goose and that told me who was laying them. It worked great i had a blue and white egg in the nest and my crossbred had the blue butt lol

No seriously, 8geese did it, and it worked!
@subhanalah suggested it in the breeding thread, and 8 geese did it. You just put food coloring at their vent, apparently. And the egg came out blue as the sea! Really pretty, actually. But we ALL knew who was laying because of it! LOL!

Yes very much! That was my goal a pied female of that cross. All the research i did said that a colored gander with a white goose would produce pied,splash or dilute boys and white girls. She proved that wrong.

Its really odd that her whole neck is brown! Never seen a pied goose or gander with its neck all brown!
