POULTRY IN THE SNOW CONTEST!​

Rules:

Open to all BYC members in the US and Canada. All domestic fowl welcome.

Picture must be taken in the past year.

No photoshopped pictures.

No more than 2 entries per member

A panel of judges will determine the winning entry.





Prize:$25 BYC gift card donated by blacktop240

Winning entry will also be considered for the 2015 BYC Calendar!

We have another coming up soon.........Wet poultry contest. With all the rain we've been getting lately, surely someone has a soaked bird picture.

That might work better here..man..lots of rain, good thing too, we need it bad down here, and hopefully getting snow pack in the mountains. My chickens have been right out in the rain, doesn't seem to bother them a bit.

My ameraucana hen tromping through 3 inches of snow to get to the bird feeder. Don't mind the raggamuffin look, she was recovering from molt. Sadly about a week after that picture was taken she was eaten by a raccoon.

This was about it for snow for them this year. They might venture out when the weather warms and the snow starts to melt, but right now it's deeper than the door, so we just don't bother opening it. They wouldn't come out anyways, they hate the cold. This was one of the first snows of the season and only a handful of them got brave. A couple just stood in the door and looked at me sideways.
