Littleton/Denver -- Anyone Interested in splitting an order of chicks??

Hey Y'all!
I'm looking to order some polish chicks but the only place I've found where I can buy pullets only is Murray McMurray. The issue is that I have to order a minimum of 15 chicks (I can mix and match, but need to order 15). I only have 1 hen to brood them (flock was decimated by a fox this winter), so I'm wondering if anyone local would like to combine orders with me? I'd like to have about 7 or 8, so i'm looking for someone else who wants 7 or more.

Please let me know!

Hi Amanda. I am in Littleton as well. Did you get any takers? I am looking to order 4 chicks and would love to split with someone.

. I have several under a broody hen and another 6 in the house. They came in last week, so they are just getting their pin feathers. If you're interested in pullets I'll be happy to discuss parting with a few of them. I'm sorry I didn't check back and respond sooner.
 
I'm okay with keeping them until they are 12 weeks. At that point you should be able to put them outside in their coop. We'll see what I have at that point to offer, but there should be a few Buff Minorcas, an Americauna, a Golden Laced Polish and maybe a Silver laced polish and/or a white crested black polish.

Do you know what you're looking for? Do you have a flock now, or just getting started?
 
Just getting started. I would like 1 each of Ameraucana, Australorp, Brahma, and Orpington. Maybe Arucana or Lace Wyandot if I can't get first choice of mix. Coop will be ready by the end of July. I have someone interested in placing an early June order with me so we may go that route. My first preference is day old chicks so I can enjoy that phase.
 
I'm certainly not an expert, but I called everywhere I could think of 2 years ago and had no luck finding anything. You might try asking at Denver Urban Homesteaders.
 
I have discovered that I have two male peking's. They were given to me from an owner that bought them for their kids on easter and they grew out of them.

Anyone interested in them?
