I think airdale are neat . mY old vet's tech always had one as well. But breed is hard to come by out here. I also wanted a hunting breed not over breed like the labs. One with a winter coat due to our winters. And honestly I am to cheap to pay for a groomer. LOL It was so great that you saved and gave great homes to 2 Airedales. I was going to ask if you ever bred them but then CRS kicked in.
They are hard to come by pretty much everywhere. Especially the big hunt bred ones. In full coat, they're oblivious to cold. Clip em down in the spring. They tough and are fearless protectors if needed. They were used to hunt bear and mountain lion. i have a nice male from upstate Wa and the female from Tx, both intact. Both the foundation bloodline I like. Plan to breed them just didn't yet.
