Limas are used green or dried. The little ones are limas, the big ones are butterbeans, the tiny ones are baby limas. I love them.
Succotash is made from fresh baby limas, corn, butter and salt. Maybe a little pepper. Really love this.
I made soup from limas, potato, onion, carrot, S&P, garlic powder, thyme, oregano & parsley. I canned it. I made some with northern beans too.
Add a handful to any soup you're eating or put just butter and S&P on them as a side veggie.
I just have a quart ziplock bag. no one but me will eat thm though. I dont have any potatoes . I have 2 lbs of hamburger thawing.
