GRANNY!!! I LOVED your story! It reminded me of Pops when he was a kid. Been scratching the same dog for 23 years now. Sad for your GS! It bothers me that you always get roped in as the "fixer". i know it's what you do, but it still makes me sad that others don't cherish you and do nice things for you or take a load off.Buy em bicycles!

I tried that once, DH walked in on me and asked what the devil are you doing ? UMM, First thing that came to mind, "I am exploring the universe". He said, well, dont fall in that hole
sounds like you are getting excited about the move. lower bills are always good.
didnt know I was going to chase everyone off. I thought it was funny.
Somebody asked if I am moved???
Well, no, I have decided what I need to sell, decided what I absolutely have to keep. No I am down to what to give away or throw away. I will only be working 3 days a week for a couple of weeks. Then I will put in for vacation time. Megan is going to come down after New Years to help me load the moving truck. My first day at the new store will be January 23rd. I have enough vacation and personal days that I won't miss any wages.
I still don't know what I am going to do with my horse. Boarding fees are as high as house payments where I am going......
I already found homes for my most favorite chickens. They will be spoiled. They will have a brand new coop and a huge run. They have never been outside of the stall in the barn that I call my coop. They will think they are in heaven.
The rest of the chickens are going to a Mexican family. They have two little girls that want to make the hens pets because of the green and blue eggs. I think the mom wears the pants in this family and she is the one that says the girls can have pet chickens because they will lay eggs. Got my fingers crossed for them.
Megan says maybe we can make a hoop coop and get some quail since they don't crow...
Hi again! Re the chickens, we have a HUGE Hispanic culture here. You are correct to feel safe with that placement! In my experience, they take great care of their egg layers.
Horse boarding: I dunno, hope something works out. On my last post, I was headed for Mi, looked into boarding in Hagarstown MD. $600 per mo 20 some years ago. Can you leave him behind till you get to know some neighbors and have a look around? Does he live at your house or do you board? what about leasing to a nice person?
