But the character is still in 1985! It's very interesting to read and remember how things were then. We have gotten so involved with this new technology, it's hard to imagine not having it. Wasn't that long ago we didn't have it!
I love chatting with y'all. I'd die if I couldn't. I wish that we could all still chat but all the other technology was like the 70's and 80's. And we were the only ones that could chat like this. Seems like it was a better and more fun life. We lived outside as kids. Parents would have to threaten to spank us to get us in at night. Sometimes they'd let us play outside the house at night. We loved spotlight in the neighborhood.
When we did have to stay inside we did puzzles, and games and art projects together. Everyone now does their own thing. Kind of isolating, isn't it? Good you do things with the kids. They will remember fishing when they're old, but probably not their video games.
