I have been craving some fresh fried chicken and that was the only way I thought to get some. I feel for them. I didnt think it through . It wants to play with the others and cant already. . breathing heavy too. and now its got something wrong with it. I think I rather use extra roos even if they are on the lean side. At least they had a normal life.
If these black tails hatch I was thinking off keeping a boy or two out of them to see what they would be like as eating birds. I'm not sure though if it would take too long to grow them on to actually have some thing to eat!
I will just have a quick look to see if it's come through.
Morning Papa , Have you done cornish x or meat birds ?
It's working I didn't block BYC after all
Morning Papa, hope your all good there
york, I dont do anything with my extra roos til they start acting up and each breed is different but that is around 6-9 months.
yes to a shotgun.
410 would be ideal, for lack of kick, and still get scatter gun affect.
the only problem, is since they are a caliber not used much down here, ammo is expensive, as well as the shotgun. also, the killing distance for varmits will be greatly reduced.
a 20 gauge, semi auto, loaded with number 6's will do ya a great job, and have very little recoil.
