No. Restricting food will help them live longer, but don't let them die for no reason. When Frank's second leg finally gave out, he would use his wings to get around. It was pathetic to see him trying to wing over to me and be petted. I cried every time I was with him. He wore holes in his wing tips in 2 days and I took him to a vet to be put down. If I had known what a meat bird was and what his life expectancy was, I would have done it when the first leg gave out.
wishing, you had to take him to a vet to be put down and I am guessing you didnt bring him home and fry him up so you know how hard this is. How can I do something that you cant ? I am no stronger then any other.
Well, we all know I'm a wuss.
