Bobwhites are a lot more difficult that Coturnix. You can't handle Bobs, they can be skittish and flighty, and have to be kept in pairs during breeding season. I have hatched and raised all mine, so they are pretty laid back, but still I can not handle them without stressing them. I keep them aviary style for the off breeding season, but come spring thru fall, they need to be kept separated in pairs as they can harm or kill each other for territory. So a bit more attention needed for Bobs. But I do enjoy them greatly.
