what is the best auto sexing breed?

Since there was some past discussion here about Welbars, I thought I'd announce that I have them - recreated by faithfully following the "recipe" used by RC Punnett. The first F4 chicks are in the brooder and appear to be completely autosexing.

(female on left, for course)

It is easy to perpetuate Welbars now even if you only have one male. Put him over some pure Welsummer hens and all the F1 pullets are pure Welbar. Bred back to their father, you have a line of true autosexing Welbars. You can't do that with Rhodebars or Legbars, they lose their autosexing traits when bred to the parent breed, but not Welbars.

If you want a auto-sexing breed of chicken
Go for the cream legbar. There friendly, not flighty and look nice
They also lay blue/green eggs.I get an egg off my hens most days
During the summer.
Here is a picture of cream legbar chicks

I realize that no one has posted in this thread for a while, but I was hoping to find more info on Wybars. I have both Golden Laced Wyandottes and Barred Rocks. Just hatched our first chicks (by a surrogate momma hen aka: my mom's Buff Orpington) and I'm trying to get a handle on the auto-sexing. We had some GLW hatch as well as some black-ish chicks. One has the distinctive white dot on it's head. Is it safe to assume that it's a male? I posted a question in another thread, but some were just saying I had Black Sex Links. ??? Thoughts? Advice? There are some "chipmunk" looking chicks, some black with black legs/black beak, one black with white spot on top of head, and some black with lighter legs and beaks.

I'm curious, Why is that so? Why can't you breed back to the brown leghorn or to the rhode island red with these breeds? What do you get, and how do you get back to a pure breed. Thanks.
