(I apologise for the abruptness of this thread. I know I should have introduced myself a long time ago. I have learned a great deal over the past two years on these forums in raising our ducks but now it looks like that's over and I need your help.)
After a year of arguing with the city we are throwing in the towel. We need to find homes for our ducks. Fighting the city would be time consuming, frustrating and potentially expensive, so we are giving our ducks away to a good home.
We live in Pittston, pa (northeastern Pennsylvania between Wilkes-barre and Scranton) but will deliver them to anyone within a reasonable distance of us.
We have 1 Rouen (female, almost 3 yrs old), 1 call duck (female, almost 2 yrs old we think) and 2 Muscovy (make and female, 2 yrs old)
The females are all egg layers and they are all friendly (the Rouen and call duck show typical mallard skittishness, but they're friendly). They're all healthy. We clipped them last fall, but will need it again soon.
Anyone interested please email me at [email protected]
We don't have much time, so the sooner you contact us the better. Thank you.
