Sorry werblessd1s, Dont want to hijack your post..this will be the last entry for me on it..

There will be a total of 4 people connected to our lavenders in the county and they will be the only ones that i truley know that have them..  all should be able to supply eggs come spring if they desire to....Hope many folks get some..

They will surely get recognized by the APA for sure..Which is where we would like to see them go..

For those who got or will be getting pairs..it will be a slow start with 1 cock and 1 hen, but you will get a good start with them..HATCH HATCH AND HATCH..cant wait to see BYC loaded up with Lavender~AKA~Self Blue orp chick pic's.. Yeehaww

  Nice pictures.

   You can also use self blue Barbu d'Uccle aka Belgium d'Uccle or self blue cochins bantams for your Lavender silkie project but you may be haunted in the future with single combs.  HS
