Dry incubation

My temp is at 100.0 and my humidity is at 10%. Tht ok? I have two paper towels n thr. Should i take one out to raise it a little or leave it?

This early on, you have plenty of time to make adjustments. I add water, as needed, keeping my humidity between 15 - 25%. Watch air cells with the goal for them to get to the correct size by lock down.

Ok thanks. This is only my second hatch. My first one didnt do so good cause i think my humidity was to high. Only 7 outta 23 hatched. Hoping for bttr luck this time.

there is a link in my profile about the dry incubation method... I go for about 30% humidity personally (I live in Oregon).
hope this helps!

Hey y'all! I just started my first dry hatch. I'm so anxious about it! I am hatching bantam cochin eggs that were shipped and I remember reading somewhere that dry hatching can improve hatch rates for eggs with detached cells. I dont have a hydrometer so I have no idea about my humidity but my thermometer reads 99.5.

Any advice is welcome!!
