Well everybody had a good year except maybe you CGin but maybe next time you'll do better
a hatch along for people who set their eggs on march thursday 27 2014

Glad everybody did better than me. I'd hate to think of someone doing worse. I'm not sure what went wrong but the next hatch afterwards also did poorly (my first and last staggered hatch - granted it's staggered only by a few days). I did so much better last month. Out of a full incubator, I only ended up with 15 chicks total.

hey at least you got 15 and not 0
One of the BLRWs died so I'm left with three. Cat tried to get in the brooder and knocked the water over. S/He got wet and cold I think. The rest are a week old now and I think doing well.
The yolky chick climbed over all the other eggs and possibly contaminated the second batch. Out of 40 eggs, I ended up with 13.
Hope everyone else's hatchlings are doing well.

Mine are now 1.5 weeks old and wild. They are learnin to fly and looking like the adults too
