I don't think you have to cull the chick. Just wait and watch.
We will learn more as he grows. Sometimes Black Copper Marans
have a funny looking eye for awhile.
Keep us posted on him.

Jen, It would be helpful to see pictures of your chick's eyes if possible. Do they have any symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as sneezing, gasping, or runny nose?
 
I'm on a mobile device that doesn't take pictures very well. The eyes are identical to the pictures of this chick. The original one had both eyes like this and seemed lethargic. The breader said he didnt notice it when he put them in the box and told me maby god made her that way. The next day another one developed one eye like this and the other now has clear runny nose, gasping, and is puffed up and lethargic. Started them on oxytetracycline 800 mg they seem to be getting better but their eyes still look like this.
