He looks like my older rooster Chick Magnet  who is a Rhode island Red. Ours doesnt have a tail either or at least not much of one. He got into it last year with a opossum and his tail still hasnt completely grown in yet lol hes just starting to get colored feathers back there.Hes about 4 years old now.

Just have to put in my 2cents here ~ my daughter was sitting here with me, while I flipped through posts, and we were following the story of Nugget ( totally hilarious ~ we were dying, wiping tears...) when up came the pic of your son.  ~~~ Oh MY, my 16 yr old daughter was SWOONING! lol ~ she said...."oohhh ~ hang on a sec.... oh.. he's CUTE!..."  I said, yah, nice rooster, huh?  she says" huh?  oh. yah great rooster ~ how old does it say that guy is?.. oohhh... hmmm.. I wonder if he has facebook..."

I definitely need one of those! He could kick the bejeezus out of a hawk.  Anyone that does that same type of cross, i'd be interested in getting one or two to be sure of getting a rooster.  Buckminster, my rooster, won't like it much.  Not much he'd have to say in the matter, though.

i could probably do a mix like that for ya,,,,, but my leghorn is much meaner to preds. then anything else i got,, i,ve looked out to see him in a talon lock with a big hawk,, and he was "putting the boots" to that poor hawk,,hehe,,, for some reason he hasnt been back
but i have both brahmas and rirs.
BUT ,, that dont mean they'll come out like "godzillaken" there ,, hahaha
