Found wild turkey eggs.....what to do?

We are in California so if there is any such state it would probably be here.

Would fish and game take them?
Yes it is a big no-no in gold ole California to "harass" any game animal, which taking the eggs from a nest falls under. The wardens will not take the eggs, they will advise you to leave them alone. The turkeys all over central California are currently laying and breeding, my bet is she has more to deposit before she sits, best to give them some space, if she feels spooked she'll abandon the nest.

Thank you all for the input. My wife just checked the nest from a distance and saw numerous egg shells and whole eggs spread around the nest. Looks like the mother abandoned the nest and something found the eggs. We are hoping she found some place else to lay the rest of her eggs that does not need to be maintained as a fire break (again good ole CA).

Thanks again all.
