muscovy ducklings

Last year I raised about 40 to 50 Muscovy ducklings. This is very easy to do as you know or are about to know that they have large broods and are relatively easy to raise. I had a very hard time getting rid of my extras and finally took them to the sale barn and practically gave them away. I had several calls from restaurant owners who wanted to buy all the young birds I had in a large quantity for butchering, but was not interested in the amount that I had..So for me your answer to your question about price is whatever you can get out of them. If you have unusual colors you may be able to get a little more than for the regular colors. Good luck

We are gonna keep a lot of them for meat. I just figured my freezer isn't quite big enough for 35 or so ducks so why not try to sale a few.. thanks for the reply.

Around here, juvenile ducks sell for about $ 5.00, adults up to $ 8.00 for breeding stock, and I sell them dressed and ready for the oven at $ 12.00.
