I am currently running 3 of these units and other than having to double and triple check the read outs on the screen - don't believe them whatever you do! - they seem to be quite reliable and work well. We have one that has the 80W motor and clear plastic bottom, we found the turning trays in that bent if it was full of big chicken eggs (Wyandotte etc) and stopped turning properly.
We strengthened it by riveting thin blades of metal to the sides of it and now it works great. Also found the clip that attaches the turning trays to the motor managed to slip out of its groove - easy to slide back in, but it does pay to every now and then check that it is turning as it should be.
I find the other 2 units that have the 160W motor hold their humidity much better, but they are so hard to see into with the windows at the top showing nothing but the motor. So we decided to use the clear plastic one as a dedicated hatcher and incubate only in the other two.
