Neighbors may be teasing my Emu & Ostrich - Need help w/ correct wording for a sign...

Yeah, I might end up selling him. He was always indifferent to any kind of interaction- which was the complete opposite of my other chick, who I think was a blue/black. So I know they can be somewhat friendly and not have that 'attitude'. I've also been around others that were 'normal' and not trying to top you every time you're in sight. It was crazy how quickly his behavior escalated- even though he was never seeking of attention, I was still sitting out with him just about a week before his dominate-showy behavior began. The change was like a flip switching, which I am assuming was literally a hormonal influx, potentially weather driven and basically just him coming into himself.

Even my two emu, one is very friendly, the other doesn't care for any type of interaction. The difference in personality is remarkable. Of course emu aren't anything compared to this bird. I don't mind not having any contact with him, but the emu definitely are getting moved then. His aggressiveness is going to end up preventing me from engaging with them through not wanting/being able to engage him. So in closing, it might be best to sell him and get two females of a different variety. Which is what I was hoping for to begin with. But I'll see how it goes with him.

I'd love to see a video, if you get one done for comparison. Of course I think he will only get worse in behavior... after all he just turned 12 months. It's not like he's going to get any nicer.

It's all downhill from here....

Great footage, Moonjelly. Taa.

Yeh, the emus seem big -- they are big -- but the ostriches are massive.

I call it 'beaking': it's evident that the emus 'peck' things in order to gather information.

Have you figured out your sign yet?

We have several at the horse barn:

It's slightly amusing but a good reminder nonetheless.

I'd go with a "Please do not disturb the livestock. Animals may react and so will my lawyer. You are on camera."

As for where to find signs (someone asked earlier) you can buy them online from vinyl shops. I've a friend who does that, but I'm not going to try and sell you anything

I'm sure you could Google for someone who makes signs - Etsy probably has 100's and you can ask any seller for a custom one.
