New at this chicken hobby!

the chicken wire is the first layer of defence but we lock them in there coop at night! a bear will have a tough time getting inside! my son will not allow them to roost anywhere but inside the coop he says its for their safety! i agree.. but you are right i may have upgraded to a heavy wire!
