Are you headed to nyc anytime soon? I live on long island and would love to give these gals a loving home. Lancaster is 4.5 hrs away... i would split the travel, but that weighs be my max
 
I would love to take in your flock... I am in the DC area. If you are headed this direction, I would love to make arrangements. I occasionally make it up to Lancaster, but don't currently have a trip planned.

I realize your message is old BUT by any chance do you know anyone else who is selling laying hens? I can't afford the surcharge the post office has placed on live poultry! Thank you for any help. Alice Honey
