Hatching chicks and ducklings together?

Thanks :) at least they have each other :) but one has spradle leg, so I have put them together, and I know I have to leave it 24 hours and then I can take it of again and he should be fine? Isn't that right :)

Can I put my day 19 chick eggs in hatchery with duck eggs that are starting to pip? I know it's not good to open incubator when they have startedbto pip but ppl open it to adjust humidity anyways so if I do it quickly should be fine. Just didn't know if the duck eggs would affect the chicken eggs since they will be hatching anytime now and the chicken eggs still have two days. Please let me know what I should do. Thanks

Technically the eggs won't hurt each other. If you can do it without too much humidity loss, then I say do it if you really need to. My ducks were alot rougher on the other eggs after they hatch than the chicks are, so they will bowl them around pretty good! But still shouldn't harm them. Why do you need to put them in with the duck eggs?

You can open it, and you will be fine. I hatch duck eggs with chickens eggs all the time. Doesn't affect anything.

Might want to address that leg sooner rather than later. Are they on a non-slip surface?
