Pretty sure their not Rumpless, Mink Araucana, they look like EE. Where did you buy them at? Most farm stores say they are Araucanas when they are actually EE, which are mixed breeds, considered mutts in the chicken world. 13 look like buff brahmas but not 100%.

None of those chicks are rumpless. Rumpless means that they don't have a tail, or even the fleshy part the tails feathers attach to. Those are most likely Easter Egger chicks.

Mille Fleur is a color. The breed is Belgian d'Uccle.

My animals were stolen by a family member and rehomed without my knowledge or consent. I was away for the weekend and they were supposed to be caring for them for me. I have no idea where any of them are at this point.

Meet the new 2016 bantam babies.

The white/yellow are Silkies, but anyone want to take a guess at what the other three are?

Old English? Dutch?

Praying that all 6 are healthy pullets and that my adult ladies will accept them. Fingers crossed.

I cannot wait to introduce them to my wonderful ladies.

But for now these baby chicks are in quarantine until they are the same size as my adult bantams. Then it's the playpen method.

Hard to believe that my ladies are already two years old. Seems like only yesterday they were this size. They grow up so fast! :hit

And yes those are marbles in the water pan (to prevent drowning) and in the feed pan (added weight to prevent tipping over).

Reconstructed my brooder as the babies are too tiny for the white tub.
